The is an eight week program on
Youth communication and leadership. The program begins on September 4th
Friday at the training center of Inspiration Masters LLC in Las Colinas
Irving
This program is designed for the students from 7th Grade thru the 12th Grade
to help them develop their communication skills and get them started
on leadership.
Each week the student build upon what they have learned in the previous
week and every single students gets an opportunity to come in front
of the group and make a presentation.
Students learn several skills such as
* overcoming nervousness while speaking before a group
* Delivering a prepared speech
* Impromptu speaking
* speech evaluation skills and providing feedback to other participants
* Meeting and introducing self to others
* Listening skills
* Leadership and procedures of getting things done
* Election and participation
* Organizing and managing skills
* Engage in meetings and group discussions.
